I wanted to share with you 101 Pretty and Unique Girl Names. The hubby and I get asked every so often how we came up with both of our daughters’ names. The truth is we didn’t want ‘everyday’ names, we wanted something pretty and unique but also with strong meaning. Mike and I both share strong cultures and the name of our kids needed to reflect this. I also needed to know their names early on so that I could talk to my babies while I was pregnant. It gave me a sense of comfort knowing her ahead of time.
Our girls Arianna (Greek baby name. Arianna is a princess and is a badass. She can conquer the world. Arianna’s are sweet, respectful and kind but will kick your ass), and Nariyah (Bright light; a worker for God) love their names and hopefully truly understand the meaning of their names as they get older.
When it’s a baby girl, we all want a name that’s as pretty and unique, as special as the baby we’re about to raise. We’ve all had names handed down to us from generation to generation, but sometimes, you just need a name that no one else has.
When it comes to your precious baby girl, no name is just right. You want a name that is just as different as your baby, but also something that wouldn’t be too exquisite that no one would be able to understand, pronounce or spell. You wouldn’t want your girl to go through her life explaining her name to everyone else, do you?
Naming a child is one of the biggest decisions you are going to make as a new parent. This is certainly not a decision to make lightly and something to seriously research unless you already have a family favorite.
By now, you have most probably gone through dozens of websites and baby name books for something special, so let me help you further. Here is a list of 101 pretty and unique baby girl names. I am sure you’ll find something here.
