Hi guys, so I discovered this book Myra Makes: Journey to Cloud City a few weeks ago on Twitter and had a conversation with the creators as to if I would get this book and do a review for them after my 9-year-old daughter tried it. I got it from Amazon and put my Arianna to work on it over the next few days. Here is my review of Myra Makes.
Myra Makes Review
First of all, this is more than just a book. Initially, I figured it is a workbook for her to go through and learn. It is so much more than that, it’s a creative adventure that teaches empathy and critical thinking and she easily spent hours on it working through the activities and discovering the new and exciting journey Myra Makes.
It’s learning with excitement and an interactive experience. Made for ages 6+ and 60 pages of bold print and endless fun while problem-solving. Grab some colored markers, crayons, craft papers or legos for some of the pages and activities to see this book come alive.
One of my favorite things about Myra Makes is that it allowed Arianna to work independently on some of the activities, letting her use her imagination creativity and it still had other pages that I was able to work together with her on too.
Arianna imagined, read, matched, colored, traced, cut, pasted, created, solved with this one book.
This book gets my approval and mom stamped A+, check it out the next time you’re on Amazon or click below to buy it now. You can thank me later 🙂
